From the elusive My Yellow Wise Rug album. Well, probably not that elusive if you know where to look. But until recently, the album still presented itself an absentee in my collection of 7th Plain material.
From The Four Cornered Room album, and thankfully not absent from my collection.
However, my copy does not appear on iTunes, but the link will take you to the Chronicles Volume III release on A-Ton.
I'm a big fan of Luke Slater, and have been collecting his records for a very long time. When I found out recently that A-TON/OSTGUT TON were re-releasing The Chronicles under his 7th Plain alias, I was over the moon.

I'm fairly certain that I heard this on the John Peel Show, and duly added it to one of my more mellow Electronic compilations for the car.
As far as I can tell, this only appears on the Chronicles Volume II, and not very memorable, but used here to begin the wind down to the mid point.
Perfect to use as the close out for the first 45 minutes.
Very popular with me whenever I find myself on a long haul flight for some reason.
Listening to it now and its very easy to see why, try it out next time you fly....if that ever happens again?
Inexplicably not part of the Chronicles release schedule, and not available on apple Music/iTunes, so if you want to own this you'll need to follow the link above.
This has always stood out as worthy of inclusion on a future project, so may as well form part of a dedicated 7th Plain show.
From the third and final Chronicles release, I sincerely hope that numbers IV and V are on the way, as there is still a double LP of untitled stuff floating around. Not sure though that it would be that easy to market and promote.

I have just finished another dedicated 90's John Peel show that will also feature a 7th Plain track. (link to follow).
I've just applied that popular music identifier App on this track,
and it came up with a suggestion from the Crocodile Shoes album by popular Geordie legend Jimmy Nail. Now that really is surreal?
Seems like a good choice to round things off with...
