IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE MADE AWARE WHEN FUTURE PROJECTS BECOME AVAILABLE,
THEN PLEASE
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS
NOT A MONEY MAKING EXERCISE
IT HAS BEEN DONE PURELY FOR
THE LOVE OF MUSIC
AND WE ARE HAVING AN ABSOLUTE BLAST
BELOW YOU WILL FIND LINKS TO THE FEATURED ARTISTS ALONG WITH BASIC NOTES EXPLAINING MUSICAL CHOICES AND INSPIRATIONS
This was swapped with Acid To The Future (below), to ease us into things with a slightly gentler groove. I thought that the track it replaced was probably a little too abrasive for any non Acid lovers. This manages to achieve what I require from an opening track, it builds and keeps going at a steady pace.
I did want to try and use everything on here from this year (2019), but gave up on that idea and settled for having the majority of tracks that are 'current'.
THE REPO MAN - JENSON INTERCEPTOR & ASSEMBLER CODE
You may remember that I featured a track by Jenson Interceptor on
I'd identified this while compiling tracks for that project, and immediately added it to the early Acid playlist.
ACID AFFAIR PT.1 - REGAL & ALIEN RAIN
Not to be confused with Paul Eve of the Wiseguys (Regal).
Confusingly, for me at least, there are multiple artists with exactly the same name. Apple music makes no attempt to distinguish between these occurances, and has led to some very strange acts cropping up in my library. Occasionally, this can lead to an accidental discovery with a positive outcome, this track being one such occasion. Thats even before we come to Alien Rain?
BOSTON 168 (ORIGINAL) - BOSTON 168
Another current track that manages to pull off the retro Acid House feel with ease.
ACID TO THE FUTURE - THOMAS P. HECKMANN
Moved from the beginning as mentioned above.
This artist first came to my attention on Slam Radio, and has several releases through Soma Records. Known for the more minimal, darker approach, this had to slot in here to begin the wind down of the first half.
This could have quite easily have fitted in at the very end. But I wanted to move it to the mid point, as I feel it sums up the message I'm trying to convey, and hopefully wets the appetite for the second half.
Not really kicking in for the first couple of minutes, but when things get going, they really get going...
I thought we would be hearing from this chap again (not quite so soon though).
I may be forced to move this show back by a week, so that I can skirt the compilation guidelines (which have already been direguarded on a (very) recent show.
This track is well worthy of skirting/disreguarding or flouting any rules.

Music's pretty good as well.
I love this track!
I'm bit worried though about placing it this far towards the end.
Mr. Buitendijk also came to my attention on a Slam Radio show.
I'm sure that I've already mentioned in the past, that Slam Radio was partly responsible for inspiring me on this current endevour. (planetmeech radio as a whole, not this show specificallly).
This would be perfect as the penultimate track........'wait a minute'......
NAGTDIEVEN EN KNEVELAERS - EKMAN
I stumbled across these Acid Avengers E.P's during my daily quest for new and interesting sounds. I've been extremely careful not to overuse that material on this mix though. I've managed to hold back quite a considerable amount of music, that could be called upon if required at some time in the future, should the need arise?
If I get the time, or encouragement, I would like to add to this with further MEECH'S ACID chapters.
Get ready though for MEECH'S ACID TRAX, a selection of favourites from the beginning of it all.
